International Little League regulations require background checks to be
performed for all local League associated volunteers reasonably likely
to have offical contact with children, including coaches, parent
assistants to coaches, concession stand operators, umpires and other
game officials, etc. Forms must be submitted allowing 10 - 14 days for
processing ahead of intended volunteer service to allow for processing
through LLI contracted service provider LexusNexus for national criminal background records search and cross-reference with national sex offender registries, and CORI background checks through the state of Mass.
Brewster Regional Little League reserves the right to deny any
volunteer access to practices, games, events, fundraisers, etc. in the
event of negative search results, or failure to timely submit the
Volunteer Application for processing, as required.
